We are one of the reputed manufacturers of Vacuum Impregnation Plants that has gained wide appreciation for operational fluency and longer service life. This vacuum, pressure impregnation plant is designed for varnish impregnation to be carried out in an efficient manner. For precision functioning, the plant is provided with impregnation chamber, impregnation storage tank, vacuum system, compressor, impregnation transfer system and control panel.

Other Details:
  • Preheating the jobs in either impregnation chamber or in oven depending upon the time available
  • Evacuation of impregnation chamber (after putting the jobs) to make the voids in the jobs clear and drying of jobs for specific time & required temperature, vacuum
  • Induction of impregnation (Varnish) in the impregnation chamber from impregnation tank to submerge the jobs in it
  • Pressurize the impregnation chamber with dry air or nitrogen to fill the voids with impregnation
  • Return the varnish to impregnation tank
  • Cure the jobs either in impregnation chamber or in oven for specific time if time available is less

Impregnation Storage Tank:

  • Varnish Tank Capacity: 50 - 80% of impregnation chamber
  • Will be provided with the level indicator, motorized stirrer, and TIC to indicate and control the varnish temperature. Return line filter to prevent entry of impurities carried away from impregnation chamber to the storage tank and suitable drain. Silica gel breather will also be provided to prevent absorption of atmospheric moisture

Vacuum System:
  • Type: Rotary oil sealed vacuum pump or roots, rotary combination
  • Capacity (free air displacement): 50 LPM to 1600 M/hr.
  • Ultimate Vacuum with G. B. Closed: 0.005 torr to 0.0001 tours.

We are engaged in offering quality range of Trickle Impregnation Machine that find wide application in several industries. Designed with the assistance of our engineering excellence, these machines are suitable for automatic impregnating of stators and rotors by trickle process. The rotors and stators are heated to pre-determined temperature and then trickled with varnish (Resin + Hardener) and cured until it hardens. When ready for manual unloading, these are rotated by chain drive, which rotates the spindles mounted on indexing, rotating table at an appropriate speed apt for trickling. The indexing table is rotated by motor with gearbox and limit or proximity switches. To enhance easier operation, the machine is provided with job indexing system, job rotation system, heating system, varnish feeding system and centralized control panel.

Other Details:


  • Job Indexing System: Index table is mounted on a spindle placed in fabricated box containing main spindle bearings. It is indexed with the help of brake motor, gearbox, chain and main spindle. The index position is ensured by spring loaded index pin operated by pneumatic cylinder, proxy switch, reed switch and PLC
  • Job Rotation System: Rotating spindles are mounted on the index table driven by electric motor, gearbox, chain and sprockets. An arrangement is provided such that when jobs come to loading - unloading station, spindles stop rotating for easy removal and placement
  • Heating System: Stators and rotors are pre heated and cured while passing through the pre heating zone and post-heating zone. Radiation type electric heaters do heating in pre-heating and curing zone with temperature control by digital temperature indicating controller with proportionate temperature control. Both the zones are insulated with glass wool to minimize heat loss. Both the zones are lined with reflective aluminum sheet backed by asbestos cloth for efficient heat reflection and distribution
  • Varnish Feeding System: Varnish is fed by peristaltic tube pumps driven by D.C. motors with variable speed control to control varnish quantity according to the models. Pneumatic tube positioning system is provided for proper varnish feeding. Total cycle is automatic except for loading and unloading
  • Centralized Control Panel: It is provided for complete preset automatic operation cycle except for loading and unloading. It is provided with cycle parameters settings such as pre-heating and curing temperature, varnish quantity, trickle time, total cycle time etc. The PLC is provided to control the operation of the machine in proper sequence and safety

Designed with the assistance of our advanced technology, this machine is ideal for batch type production of stators and is widely acknowledged for low maintenance. The machine comprises rotation system, job tilting and varnish tubes positioning system, varnish feeding system, heating system, centralized control panel and fumes extraction system.

The machine is suitable for carrying out following automatic cycle:

  • Load stators on spindles, connect winding wires, close the front door and start cycle with push button
  • Spindles start rotating and are preheated to predetermined temperature
  • Temperature of stator is sensed by non-contact TIC
  • Spindle holding plate is tilted up and varnish pipes are tilted down to adjust the place of trickling
  • Varnish pump starts and pre determined varnish is trickled on stators / rotors and pump stops. Trickle temperature is maintained with the non-contact TIC
  • Spindle holding plate is tilted down and varnish pipes are tilted up and post heating starts
  • After completing the post heating spindles, stop
  • Open the door & remove wire connections and Un-load the ready stators

Trickle varnishing machine consists of following major components:
  • Rotation System: Spindles for holding job fixtures are mounted on swiveling L-plate. The spindles are mounted on pillow blocks and provided with slip rings for passing current through winding during preheating and curing. Electric connection pins are provided on the face plates for quick terminal connections. Suitable job holding arrangement is provided to hold & locate the stators. Spindles are rotated by geared motor, chain, sprockets mounted on L-plate
  • Job Tilting and Varnish Tubes Positioning System: L-plate is tilted by 10 to 15° to ensure varnish reaching the other end & metered varnish is trickled on the job. Job is made horizontal after varnish trickling i.e. while curing for uniform distribution of varnish. Pneumatic job tilting & pipe positioning arrangement is provided to ensure the place of varnish trickling on the job
  • Varnish Feeding System: Varnish is fed by peristaltic tube pumps driven by D.C. motors with variable speed control to control varnish quantity according to the models. Varnish quantity is varied & controlled by setting pump speed and trickle time
  • Heating System: Jobs are heated by passing pre determined current for predetermined time through job windings. The current passing through the jobs is controlled by step-less variable voltage D.C. power source. Pre heating, trickle and curing temperatures are controlled with non contact thermo sensor
  • Centralized Control Panel: PLC Control with easy setting and control of process parameters such as preheating, trickling and curing time and temperature and varnish quantity
  • Fumes Extraction System: One exhaust fan with ducting is provided on the top of the machine for varnish fumes extraction

Automatic Trickle Impregnation Plant is suitable for pre-heating, trickling and post heating of stators/rotors (1, 2, 3 or 6 Nos. at a time). The machine is of simple and compact design. It is easy for operation and maintenance. It is ideally suitable for batch type production of high current and low voltage stators up to 180-mm diameter. The machine can be converted to suit impregnation of rotors.


The machine is suitable for carrying out following automatic cycle:

 

  • Load stators/rotors on spindles and start cycle with push button.
  • Spindles start rotating and get pre-heated to predetermined temperature.
  • Spindle holding plate is tilted up and varnish pipes are tilted down to adjust the place of trickling.
  • Varnish pump starts and predetermined varnish is trickled on stators/rotors and pump stops.
  • Spindle holding plate is tilted down and varnish pipes are tilted up and post heating starts.
  • After completing the post-heating spindles, stop.
  • Unload the ready stators/rotors.

 

The machine is provided with all necessary Electro-pneumatic controls, voltage controls and peristaltic tube with variable discharge for easy and safe operation.
